Adnan holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Civil Engineering. After working as a consultant engineer for 7 years, he immigrated to Canada with his family. Adnan was attracted to the financial services industry and joined a major bank-owned insurance company in April 1998. After a successful 15-year career as a senior advisor, Adnan made the decision to form his own firm, Parwez Financial Group Ltd — Strategic Insurance Solutions, in 2012.
Adnan built his practice helping families improve their risk-management programs and then transitioned to the corporate insurance environment. As an independent insurance advisor, he has access to products from the top insurance companies in Canada and can represent those companies to serve his clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Adnan is a Saskatchewan Representative for FBC (Farm Business Consultants), Financial and Estate Planning Division. Adnan believes he will be better able to offer his clients the best value and selection in today’s marketplace.
Adnan is a proud member of CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting); CALU membership is restricted to individuals who meet the professional standards set for admission. CALU members provide personal financial, business succession, estate planning, wealth creation, retirement planning and employee benefits services to their clients, many of whom are the owners of family businesses.
Dedicated to his profession, Adnan believes in education and earning the designations to further his knowledge base. He holds the Life Underwriter (IFATC-Level II), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designations. Adnan is also a proud member of Advocis (The Association of Financial Advisors of Canada) and served on the board for 3 years. He is a life and qualifying member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has been a recipient of The National Quality Award for a number of years. He has also served on the board of Regina Estate Planning Council.
Adnan married his high school sweetheart, Naumana, and they are very proud of their three children. He is an avid golfer and firearms enthusiast; he competes and officiates IPSC, 3Gun and IDPA matches. Adnan was elected in 2021 to the position of Section Coordinator of IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) for the province of Saskatchewan. He served as President of the Regina Association of Practical Shooters (RAPS) for many years and continues to serve on the board of the Regina Wildlife Federation (RWF) and RAPS. Adnan is dedicated to the promotion of shooting sports in the province of Saskatchewan. Heather joined Adnan’s team in 2012. She has extensive experience in customer service, secretarial and administration work.
Heather graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Music degree, and enjoyed many years at home with her son before returning to work as an Administrative Assistant in various work environments. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and is active in promoting Autism Awareness in the community.
