Dwayne M. Anderson began his career at one of Saskatchewan’s leading law firms before founding Anderson Law Firm Prof. Corp. in 2000. He works primarily in the areas of tax planning and corporate reorganizations. He has extensive experience advising clients on complex corporate restructuring and tax planning matters, including business sales and purchases.
Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1985 (Honours) and his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1990. In addition to his professional background, Mr. Anderson has acted as a director and officer of several companies, limited partnerships, and joint ventures related to the oil and gas industry. Mr. Anderson was former a Member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts for the Province of Saskatchewan.

Trevor Sundbo is a Partner with Virtus Group LLP Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors LLP in the Regina office. He has over 20 years experience in public practice, joining the firm’s partnership group in 2006. Trevor specializes in providing succession planning and business advisory services for his many professional and entrepreneurial clients.
His primary focus is with mid-sized owner managed businesses, with a concentration on exit planning and value added strategic advisory services. He assists clients in optimizing their corporate structure from a tax and long term planning perspective. As a result of his 20 years in public practice, Trevor has served numerous clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, real estate development, oil and gas, construction, healthcare, legal and financial professional services. Trevor is passionate about providing practical business advice and building strong relationships that contribute to the operational efficiency and long term success of his valued clients.
Trevor has served on numerous community boards and currently is a director of the Regina Fellowship Assembly and the Vice Chair of the United Way Campaign Cabinet. Trevor is a frequent instructor at the firm’s internal leadership development program and is also a member of the firm’s executive and human resources committees.
A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Trevor earned his professional designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1996 and his Certified Exit Planner (CExP) designation in 2011.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with roles including Regional Investment Specialist at The Canada Life Assurance Company and District Vice President with RBC Global Asset Management. Scott helped advisors and affluent clients throughout Saskatchewan meet their financial goals by supplying financial planning solutions and wealth management products, including insurance-based investments, mutual funds, hedge funds and exchange traded funds.
Having studied at the University of Regina, Scott holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Born and raised in Regina, Scott is married with three children. He is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle and is very involved in supporting his children in their numerous athletic endeavours such as golf, hockey and soccer.
Dennis Serre is the President and CEO of Serre Financial and its group of companies. Part of Dennis’ role is to ensure that all current business complies with the rules of the Income Tax Act, and to introduce new options for tax savings and tax deferrals to Serre Financial clients.
Early in his career, Dennis joined the Royal Canadian Navy where he earned his degree in engineering from Dalhousie University. He later earned his Corporate Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Ryerson University. He has also completed several industry related courses: IFIC Sales, IFIC Compliance; CFP courses: Wealth Accumulation, Risk Management, Estate Planning, Personal Financial Planning; CSC, InfoNex: MFDA Compliance, IDA Compliance and Regulations; and has taken part in various educational seminars of the past 23 years.
Dennis’ work related experiences began while working at the Canada Revenue Agency, as a pension specialist and Trust Officer. In this role, Dennis acquired valuable skills that have greatly attributed to his expertise in the areas of pension plan creation, design and administration. The role also allows Dennis to obtain significant knowledge and the requirements of trust and fiduciary duties. His background also includes roles as Pension Specialist, Pension Officer and Compliance Manager at AIC, Berkshire, CI Funds, Mackenzie and M.R.S. Trust. Dennis has successfully implemented pension platforms for several financial institutions.
Over the last 15 years, Dennis has been focused on structuring various solutions for business owners and professionals. Serre Financial has helped several thousand clients to minimize taxes, through immediate savings, at retirement and from an estate planning perspective. Properly executing Business Exit Strategies have allowed Serre Financial’s clients to focus on their goals today, tomorrow and in the future. Grant has enjoyed being a financial advisor for over 35 years. He began his career in Regina in 1979 and worked in Waterloo, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. In 1991 he returned to Regina and continues to service clients in southern Saskatchewan.
Grant has always placed a high value on professional development and continuing education. He has successfully achieved the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. He is an active member of The Financial Advisor Association of Canada (Advocis) and The Conference for Advanced Underwriters (CALU).
In 2007, Grant founded the BlueSky Financial Planning Firm. The BlueSky planning concepts and financial strategies are based on decades of practical experience, the very best investment and insurance products and the resources of experts in the legal and accounting professions. Grant volunteers for the Regina Untied Way, Habitat for Humanity, the M.S. Walk and the Canadian Cancer Society. He enjoys golf, reading and traveling. Grant is married to Sharlene and they have 3 adult children and 5 special grandchildren.

Joel Gartner is an Employee Benefits Specialist working with small businesses to create effective compensation packages. From 2008 to 2012, while being Manulife Financial’s group insurance representative in Saskatchewan, Joel attained his Group Benefit Advisor (GBA) designation. Working with many entrepreneurs inspired Joel to venture out and start a benefit consulting firm of his own in 2012.
Joel is actively involved in Advocis and sits on the Board of Executives for the South Saskatchewan chapter as a member of the program committee. He is also very involved in organizing the chapter’s annual charity golf tournament which has raised nearly $100,000 in the past six years for the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
He is very proud to be a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
In Joel’s spare time he likes to get yelled at by a mob of angry parents and fans while he officiates all levels of football in Regina. More importantly, Joel loves taking time with his young growing family to cook, play and do whatever his young daughter Katherine wants.
