Adnan holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Civil Engineering. After working as a consultant engineer for 6 years, he immigrated to Canada with his family. Adnan was attracted to the financial services industry and joined a major bank-owned insurance company in April 1998. Adnan built his practice helping families improve their risk-management programs and then transitioned to the corporate insurance environment.
After a successful 15-year career as a senior advisor with a major bank-owned insurance company, Adnan made the decision to form his own firm, Parwez Financial Group Ltd — Strategic Insurance Solutions in 2012. As an independent insurance advisor he now has access to products from the top insurance companies in Canada, and can represent those companies to serve his clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. His interest lies in structuring insurance strategies using mostly tax-exempt life insurance for Business/Farm Owners to achieve multiple tax-efficient objectives for their operations, themselves and their families.
Dedicated to his profession, Adnan believes in education and earning the designations to further his knowledge base. Adnan holds the Life Underwriter (IFATC-Level II), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designations. Adnan is a proud member of CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting) and Advocis (The Association of Financial Advisors of Canada), and he served on the board for 3 years. Adnan is a life and qualifying member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has been a recipient of The National Quality Award for a number of years. Currently, he is on the board of Regina Estate Planning Council.
Adnan married his high school sweetheart, Naumana, and they are very proud of their three children. He is an avid firearms enthusiast and regularly competes in IPSC, IDPA, 3 GUN and CQM matches. Currently, he is the President of the Regina Association of Practical Shooters. Adnan is dedicated to the promotion of shooting sports in the province of Saskatchewan. Parwez Financial Group is pleased to support cricket in Canada, and is a major sponsor of the Saskatchewan Cricket Association.

Joel Gartner is an Employee Benefits Specialist working with small businesses to create effective compensation packages. From 2008 to 2012, while being Manulife Financial’s group insurance representative in Saskatchewan, Joel attained his Group Benefit Advisor (GBA) designation. Working with many entrepreneurs inspired Joel to take venture out and start a benefit consulting firm of his own in 2012.
Joel is actively involved in Advocis and sits on the Board of Executives for the South Saskatchewan chapter as a member of the program committee. He is also very involved in organizing the chapters’ annual charity golf tournament which has raised nearly $100,000 in the past six years for the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
He is very proud to be a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
In Joel’s spare time he likes to get yelled at by a mob of angry parents and fans while he officiates all levels of football in Regina. More importantly, Joel loves taking time with his young growing family to cook, play and do whatever his young daughters Katherine and Elizabeth want.

Heather joined Adnan’s team as his Administrative Assistant when he was an Advisor at RBC Insurance. She continued this role when Parwez Financial Group opened its doors in January 2013.
She has extensive experience in customer service, secretarial and administration work.
Heather graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Music degree, and enjoyed many years at home with her son before returning to work as an Administrative Assistant in various work environments. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, sings with two choirs, and is active in promoting Autism Awareness in the community.
